I retain all image rights on all artwork that I produce. However I am happy for you to use images of my art work for non commercial use and please feel free to post images on your social media. Be sure to tag me #sophiecoleart
Price Rises
In the event of a price rise, I will always honour the price shown on the website at the time the customer commissioned the portrait from me. The portrait is commissioned once I’ve received the photo reference and been given the go-ahead by the customer to start work.
Shipping
Shipping on most items is free within the UK and posted with Royal Mail or Parcel Force.
Most orders will be packed and shipped within 5 working days. Within the UK pieces are sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier depending on size and weight. Most UK deliveries arrive within 2 days from time of shipping. Please allow 7 days in total. If you need a piece by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.
Shipping Internationally
I can ship to most countries, although it will take longer to arrive depending on your location. If your location is restricted once you get to the checkout you need a bespoke courier service. Message me with your details and the piece you would like and I can give you shipping options.
Overseas shipments (outside the UK) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. We have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.
Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees.
Returns and Refunds
If the item is not as you expected, you have 7 days to contact me and request a refund, provided the item is in perfect condition. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Once the piece has been safely returned we will refund your payment within 14 days. Payment is refunded minus the cost of shipping and PayPal fees.
If the wrong item has been sent to you or it is damaged on arrival I will refund or replace the item and pay for return postage if applicable. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days and if possible keep a photograph.
At this time we are unable to offer a refund or return on any product(s) sent outside of the UK.
commissions Guarantee
As mentioned on the Commissions page, in the unlikely event you are not happy with your portrait I will refund you the cost minus the 25% deposit once I have received the returned portrait.
Privacy Policy
Contact details including telephone numbers, addresses and email addresses of customers are always kept entirely confidential, as are photographs which are mailed or emailed to me. I never sell or pass on any customer information to anybody, whether you go ahead and commission a portrait or not. For more in depth information please visit Privacy Policy.
